The Zambia Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (ZEITI) was proud to participate as an exhibitor at the 2025 Mining Indaba in Cape Town, held from 3–6 February 2025, as part of the Zambian delegation.

Represented by Data Officer, Mr. Chomba Chileshe, ZEITI engaged with participants on the newly launched Zambia EITI Mainstreaming Portal, a cutting-edge platform designed to enhance transparency and accessibility in Zambia’s mining sector. The portal provides real-time, interactive, and detailed data on key aspects of the mining industry, including revenue flows and G-Factor data disclosures. It serves as a one-stop resource for diverse stakeholders, including policymakers, investors, and researchers, supporting informed decision-making and improved sector governance.

ZEITI remains committed to strengthening transparency and accountability in Zambia’s extractive sector, and its presence at global events like the Mining Indaba reinforces efforts to drive data-driven reforms and promote responsible resource management.
